"Bush Economy" Created New Jobs in October

Nov. 4, 2005

Employers added 56,000 jobs to nonfarm payrolls in October, bouncing back from a
hurricane-induced loss in the prior month. The unemployment rate slipped to 5%.
Average hourly earnings edged higher.
